Analog IR Sensor Array 10

This analog Line sensor array for line follower robots is based on TCRT-5000 IR sensors and has been designed for Arduino Mega users. It has a total of 10 IR sensors and requires 10 analog pins of a microcontroller or Arduino board (like Arduino Mega).

This sensor has got IR LED control option that lets you turn ON and OFF the IR LEDs of the sensor array using a digital pin of Arduino. That ensures unnecessary power consumption when the sensors are not in use. Moreover, the ability to read IR sensors while turning ON and OFF the IR LEDs helps to eliminate the effect of flashlights and sunlight.

 

This sensor array is similar to Pololu QTR sensors and fully compatible with the Pololu QTR library. (click here)
